Privacy:

General
FINNOFLEET GmbH attaches the highest importance to the protection of your privacy as a user. This applies, in particular, to the processing of personal data. In order to use our website, it is not necessary for you to disclose any personal data. In certain cases, however, we require your name and address as well as other details in order to process your order. Where necessary, we will inform you accordingly. In addition, we only store and process data that you provide to us voluntarily or automatically.

Collection and processing
All access requests to our website and the retrieval of files stored on the website are logged. These logs include: file name retrieved, date and time of retrieval, amount of data transferred, notification of successful retrieval, Web browser and requesting domain. Storage is for internal statistical purposes. In addition, the IP addresses of the client computers are logged. Further personal data will only be collected if you provide this information voluntarily, for example in the context of an enquiry, order or registration.

Use and sharing
The personal data you disclose will be treated confidentially by us and will only be passed on to third parties if this is necessary for order processing, e.g. the passing on of order data to suppliers. Under no circumstances will we lease or sell your personal data, or data that could be associated with you, to third parties for their use. Personal data will only be used to process your orders, to answer your questions and to compile anonymous statistics internally. Exceptions only apply to services you have requested, which include consent to the use of your further data, as well as to the disclosure of your data to state institutions and authorities by law. We will pass on the data collected and stored with your consent to business partners within the scope of contractual arrangements, insofar as this is necessary in your interest. Our business partners are, of course, required and obliged to comply with statutory data protection regulations.

Insofar as we advertise for other companies on our website, we label this advertising. With its ruling of 12 May 1998, ‘Liability for Links’ (312 O 85/98), the Regional Court of Hamburg has clearly decided that by placing a link, one may be jointly responsible for the content of the linked site, i.e. one may be held liable; this can only be prevented by expressly dissociating oneself from this content, which FINNOFLEET GmbH hereby does. FINNOFLEET GmbH will not pass on any data to non-EU countries without your consent, unless it is necessary for the transaction and expressly permitted by the EU GDPR/the German Federal Data Protection Act (BDSG).

Right of access and objection
If consent to the use of your personal data was required, you can revoke this consent at any time by post to FINNOFLEET GmbH, Geschäftsführung, Kurhessenstr. 5, 64546 Mörfelden-Walldorf or by sending an email to info@finnofleet.com. Our data protection officer is

The right to data portability
You have the right to have data that we process automatically on the basis of your consent or in the performance of a contract handed over to you or to a third party in a common machine-readable format. If you request the direct transfer of the data to another controller, this will only be done insofar as it is technically feasible.

Deletion and correction of personal data
Stored personal data will be deleted if the user of the website and/or client withdraws their consent to storage, if knowledge of the data is no longer necessary to fulfil the purpose for which it was stored, or if its storage is inadmissible for other legal reasons. This does not apply to data stored for billing and accounting purposes.

SSL encryption
This site uses SSL encryption for security reasons and to protect the transmission of confidential content, such as the enquiries you send to us. An encrypted connection can be recognised by the lock symbol in the browser’s address bar and by the fact that the address bar of the browser switches from ‘http://’ to ‘https://’. If SSL encryption is enabled, the data you transmit to us cannot be read by third parties.

Security instructions
We assure you that we store your personal data using all technical and organisational means in such a way that it is not accessible to third parties. When communicating by email, we cannot guarantee complete data security; we therefore recommend that you send confidential information by post.
